BioPlastics’ on-site Radio Frequency (RF) welding equipment is used to bond BioThane^® to itself or to compatible thermoplastic surfaces. This sealing process uses high-frequency radio waves to heat and bond molecules in the materials being welded together.  RF welding creates secure attachment points wherever sewing, which can compromise the surface of webbings and trap bacteria, would have been used.
