Electric Shock Eliminated with New Safety Harness Material
Field workers in the power generation industry were experiencing high voltage shocks when working in wet conditions. The shocks resulted from their dirty, wet safety harnesses which were serving as an electricity conductor instead of a safety device. Workers were receiving serious injuries and some even died.
BioPlastics Company was asked to develop a solution for protecting workers while wearing these safety harnesses.
Our team will be exhibiting at the 2009 National Safety Council Congress & Expo in Orlando, Florida. We will have samples of the material used in these harnesses as well as other innovative solutions .
