Look: Leather Grain Matte
Feel: It is very soft to the touch with excellent flexibility. In cold temperatures the flexibility of the webbing is excellent. It has a high hand tackiness which makes it very easy to grip. The coating characteristics allows for easy sewing and skiving.
Performance: The peel adhesion is good which means the coating requires moderate force to peel away from the webbing. The abrasion-resistance is poor which means the coating will completely abrade with extended use. It has poor coating tear strength which means very little force is required to tear the coating away from itself. It has good to excellent weather resistance which means the color may fade very slightly over time with extended exposure to the elements. It has a selection of colors and profiles.
Application examples: equine lines, leads
Its similarity to leather combined with high performance, thick coating and non-memory drape makes Beta® 560 ideal for sewing and skiving. Horse lines, horse leads and bridles are just a few of the many applications for Beta® 560 Series belting.
