BioThane® Products Rolled Goods Foam 950
Suede Foam 950 has a suede-like surface with a lightweight body. Comprised of closed-cell foam, Foam 950 is water-resistant and provides some buoyancy. See our colors and profiles for BioThane® Foam 950.
Look: Suede Matte
Feel: It is very soft to the touch with excellent flexibility. In cold temperatures the flexibility of the webbing is excellent. It has a high hand tackiness which makes it very easy to grip. The unique character of this coating allows for easy sewing because stitches actually bury into the coating.
Performance: The peel adhesion is poor which means the coating requires little force to peel away from the webbing. The abrasion-resistance is poor which means the coating will completely abrade with extended use. It has fair coating tear strength which means some force is required to tear the coating away from itself. It has good weather resistance which means the color may fade slightly over time with extended exposure to the elements. It has a selection of colors and profiles.
