The Griamond® Series is BioPlastics’ response to numerous customer requests for a “harder” version of our GraniteTM coating. Griamond® integrates the hardness of Diamond with the matte finish of Granite™. Any item from our Granite™ class is available in Griamond®. See our colors and profiles for Griamond® options.
Look: Leather Grain Matte
Feel: It is very hard to the touch with good to excellent flexibility. In cold temperatures the flexibility of the webbing is good. It has a medium hand tackiness which makes it easy to grip. The coating characteristics allows for easy cutting, sewing, riveting and welding.
Performance: The peel adhesion is excellent which means the coating is difficult to peel away from the webbing. The abrasion-resistance is good to excellent which means the coating will only experience slight abrasion with extended use. It has good to excellent coating tear strength which means a strong force is required to tear the coating away from itself. It has good weather resistance which means the color may fade slightly over time with extended exposure to the elements. It has a selection of colors and profiles.

The combination of high performance and timeless matte black style makes the Griamond® 430 Series the preferred coated webbing in multiple markets. Griamond® is designed for the toughest harness applications and also features more abrasion resistance and buckle pull strength.
